There are just so many great musicians from MALI that I have had a difficult time selecting only four, so I have included eight examples here, and hopefully these will give you some idea of Malian music, both its distinctive characteristics (they love electric guitars, but with their unique style), as well as some of their diversity (especially between the desert-dwelling Tuareg people with groups like Tinariwen and Terakaft, and the urban sounds of Ngoni Ba and Fatoumata).
